We are tech savvy serial entrepreneurs and investors with diversified industry backgrounds who invest in and work with entrepreneurs and leaders to help them reach their goals. We provide both Growth Capital and Acquisition Capital to small and mid-size private companies along with operational expertise to help scale, reposition, restructure or exit. We focus our investment efforts in the US and Canada.

Growth Capital

Our growth capital investments are primarily geared towards assisting technology and healthcare companies scale their business beyond the early stages to a more mature sustainable growth organization.  We work well with organizations that have annual revenue in the $3m to $20M range and need capital and help to scale beyond.  We tend to prefer working with companies that can reach profitability quickly if needed. 

Acquisition Capital

We believe the current economic environment provides ample opportunity for entrepreneurs and mid-career executives to buy successful new age and old industry businesses from families and owners who have a desire to exit.  Many of these businesses have great potential to increase sustainable value rapidly.

Our approach is to partner with mid-career executives and select search fund entrepreneurs to help them buy and or recapitalize promising business in the lower middle market with EBITDA between $1.5M – $6M.   This segment of the market is full of opportunities to build value through acquisition.   As investors, we are enthusiastic about backing the right people and guiding them.  We do not shy away from restructuring or turnarounds. 

We invest in a variety of industries including technology, healthcare, professional services, field services, distribution and more. Our biggest selection criteria in making an investment are the attitude and desire of the people we work with to grow and build a strong and nimble customer centric organization which will ultimately create value for all stakeholders.   

We get most excited about business that have a strong and long-term relationship with their customers, a strong stream of recurring or near recurring revenue and higher barriers to entry.

Tehseen Dahya has 30 years of experience leading and growing companies from inception and acquisition to exit in technology, healthcare and supply chain. He was most recently EVP of North America for Basware, a global leader in the Source to Pay Software arena. Prior to Basware, Tehseen was CEO and Co-founder of Verian Technologies, a leader in the Purchase to Pay space. During his tenure at Verian he grew the company from inception to being recognized by Gartner as a top 4 company globally, before selling to Basware Inc. Prior to Verian, Tehseen acquired Eastern Medical & Surgical and grew from a 6-person company to the largest independent distributor of Medical Supplies to medical clinics and long-term care facilities in the Carolinas before selling to Henry Schein.   He also cofounded Healthnet, a healthcare internet startup focused on connecting hospitals, medical clinics and patients virtually that sold to the Prisma Healthcare system in Columbia, SC.

Bhavin is a product strategy expert with experience in cloud platforms, web development, product management and artificial intelligence. Bhavin has 20+ years experience in growing and transforming technology platforms. He was Co-founder of Verian Technologies, a leader in the Purchase to Pay space. During his tenure at Verian, the product platform was recognized by Gartner as a leader in the magic quadrant and one of the top 4 Purchase to Pay companies globally.  Prior to Verian he was involve in transforming Eastern Medical & Surgical from a 6 person operation to the largest independent distributor of Medical Supplies in the Carolinas through the use of technology as its competitive advantage prior to selling to Henry Schein. He also cofounded Healthnet a healthcare internet startup focused on connecting hospitals, medical clinics and patients virtually that sold to the Prisma Healthcare system in Columbia, SC.

Bilal is an entrepreneur with multiple startups in different industries, including distribution, healthcare, consulting, and finance. As CTO of Verian Technologies, Bilal helped architect the best-in-class technology for the Purchase to Pay industry. Gartner recognized his leading work in the Gartner magic quadrant. Before that, he was a founder and COO of Eastern Medical & Surgical. He was instrumental in developing industry-leading customer engagement tools that changed the data analysis paradigm and transformed the company into a regionally dominant player. As CEO of the FinTech XcooBee, Bilal brought together privacy and payment technologies into transformative solutions for retail and hospitality. Currently, Bilal is assisting startups with building MVPs and creating concise market and business strategies. Bilal is a technology visionary who understands the benefits of technology, simplifies it for end users, and sees the long-term implications for individuals and companies. He is also a frequent speaker on information systems security and data privacy and a contributor to Open Source.
